Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am! Please fill in the contact form and I will get in touch to let you know if I believe the project will be a good fit. If you’re with a larger company or publisher, feel free to contact my agent Alex Gehringer directly at the details mentioned above. For smaller commissions, I can work with you privately.

  • Right now I mostly work on children’s books, but I’m absolutely open to different types of projects. I especially enjoy working with small organizations dedicated to LGBTQIA+ rights. If I’m not the right fit for your project, I may know someone who is!

  • Absolutely, especially if you’re a small queer focused organization. I love working with my community and will operate on a sliding scale for non-profits and political activists.

  • I recently moved away from the United States, so I’m only available for events in a digital format.

  • My books are traditionally published and are available anywhere you buy books! Each book’s page on my website contains a link to its respective publisher. It’s also a huge help to request for my books to become available at your local bookstore or library!

  • Please refrain from using my artwork without asking, especially if uncredited. Work that hasn’t been published in a book is available for licensing, so feel free to contact myself or reach out to my agent Alex Gehringer.

  • Not at the moment, but a shop will be in the works soon.

    • Get involved with and attend your local school and library board meetings

    • Join and support organizations such PEN America or Authors Against Book Bans

    • Post positively about the authors' books on social media

    • Give copies of their books as gifts

For more information about how to find people in your community that love books and libraries - or how to form a group to support books and libraries - check out the Freedom the Read Project (freedomtoreadproject.org). Their guide, Turning the Page (https://www.freedomtoreadproject.org/turning_the_page) is a step by step guide to finding the book loving and pro-library folks in your community!

  • Please don’t! I likely won’t acknowledge it or respond, and it definitely won’t have the impact you’re hoping for. There are many more fun and productive ways to spend your limited time on this earth.
